You don’t need a rental car to enjoy a stay in Cabo San Lucas — most guests get by just fine with a mix of walking and rideshares. Here’s how to think about getting around.
Walking
El Tezal is more walkable than people expect. Medano Beach is a five-minute walk from the condo, several taco spots are within five to ten minutes, and once you’re on the beach you can walk the shoreline all the way to the marina if you’re up for it. For anything genuinely far — say, a day trip to Chileno or Santa Maria Beach — you’ll want a ride, but plenty of your day-to-day can happen on foot.
Taxis and rideshare
Uber and taxis are both easy to use and readily available in Cabo San Lucas. For most guests, this ends up being the default way to reach downtown, the marina, or anywhere further afield — request a ride through the app and you’re usually picked up within a few minutes.
Local buses
Local buses run frequently along the corridor, with stops near the property. They’re the cheapest option if you’re comfortable checking routes and timing your trip, though most visitors find rideshare more convenient for the time saved.
Private transportation
If you need something more specific — a private driver for the day, transportation for a larger group, or help arranging an airport transfer — just ask. We’re happy to help you find the right option for whatever you have planned.
Book direct and we’ll walk you through the easiest way to get around during your stay.
